Electrical Project Engineer – Nuclear
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 DOE + £5,500 Car Allowance
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: 9-day fortnight (every other Friday off)

Job Description
We are recruiting an Electrical Project Engineer to support delivery of electrical works on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power station project — one of the UK’s largest and most complex infrastructure programmes.
This position is open to junior, mid-level and experienced Electrical Project Engineers, including candidates from other regulated or safety-critical industries such as rail, oil & gas, defence and data centres.
Key Responsibilities

Support delivery of electrical engineering works to safety, quality, time and cost targets

Assist with project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting

Coordinate procurement of electrical materials, equipment and subcontractors

Review electrical designs, drawings and technical specifications

Monitor project progress, costs and commercial performance

Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors

Support health, safety and quality compliance on site and in the office
Responsibilities will increase in line with experience and capability.
Required Skills & Experience

Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Strong electrical engineering knowledge, including electrical installations

Experience in engineering, construction or project delivery environments

Experience working in regulated or safety-critical sectors is desirable

Previous experience in a Project Engineer or Project Management role preferred

Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
